Frenchi’s Deli: Authentic French Sandwiches in Columbus, OH

This deli and bakery place was impressive. The gentleman would like to chat with everyone and made his sandwiches delicious. Every topping was fresh and diced. The bread was baked. It could be the best deli in Columbus. There were also French style pastries, freshly made in the morning.

WOW!! My husband and I went for the first time today and the food was absolutely 10/10. The owner was incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was great. We tried the #1 and #3 both done Frenchi’s way, and OH MY GOODNESS! We also tried the chocolate croissant and the crookie (croissant with chocolate chip cookie batter inside) and they were incredible. We will be coming back anytime we are in the area for sure!

Great deli spot in Columbus. If Frenchi, the owner, makes a suggestion - go with it! You won’t be disappointed!! The special sauce he added to the Reuben and the chopped up pickles brought the sandwich up a notch for sure. As he said it’s not a sandwich you can eat while driving! So big and messy you’ll need extra napkins!! This will be in my regular rotation for a sandwich in Columbus.

Delicious! I would show a picture but the food's already in my belly. All I have to say is when you go there definitely get it Frenchi's way. Wonderful owners, pleasant experience. Love me a hole on the wall restaurant. Will definitely be returning and earlier in the day so I can get some of their lovely breads and pastries.

So my partner and I always visits this location and the husband very kind very nice but the wife not so much I went in there today 12/12/2025 at around 4:45 I asked for a turkey sub with extra meat witch this is what I do so the wife nearly put any meat on there I was looking so hard to see the extra meat and it wasn't there so she got a attitude kept asking what vegetables and I said again Is that extra meat she says yes and then says Ill add more but that's extra cuts extra meat and throws it on the sub with the warm meat she didn't even heat it up mine u I'm on dialysis so ion eat meat that's not cooked so now I gotta heat my subs up. I didn't expect that kind of treatment because her husband is so kind very friendly and knows how to treat his customers.

Man does this owner know what he’s doing. Trust his process! The food was not only incredible but the conversation and service was fantastic. I only wish he had the space for some tables. Such a great experience will be coming back time and time again.

My experience going to Frenchi’s Deli was great. The atmosphere was fabulous. The owner was very nice. We had a great conversations, and he helped me out because I am kind of a picky eater, and he made a sandwich that I loved. I recommend going here 10 out of 10. I went here with my boyfriend, and he also loved his sandwich. We will definitely be coming back!
